Charming Places to Stay in New Zealand Accommodation Guide

What our guests are saying:

"Excellent - we'll be back!"

Reviewed November 3, 2011
We stayed one night upstairs in the aqua room, while our 2 year old occupied the tulip room. We thoroughly enjoyed Anne and Grahame's superb hospitality, and had a fantastic night's sleep. We were treated to a delicious breakfast with all the trimmings and service in the elegant main dining room. We look forward to staying again next time we pass through Taupo.

"Delightful B&B"

Splendid view of Lake Taupo and king bed with the two nicest hosts you could wish for. Anne and Grahame were warm, helpful and welcoming but not intrusive. With their assistance we were able to make the best use of our time in Taupo. Special thanks to Grahame for his introduction to the Wairakei International Golf + Sanctuary. If you are a golfer this is one course you will definitely want to play in NZ ~ rated #1 in NZ. Taupo makes a good base for travelling to Rotorua and/or doing the Tongariro Crossing. A truly great B&B ~ Try it.

"Wonderful Taupo Experience: 5 STARS!!"

What a wonderful welcome to the Lake Taupo area!
Anne and Grahame’s generous hospitatility was unrivaled in our five-week New Zealand vacation.
The breakfasts were superb.
Anne was highly attentive to our needs and desires. She made excellent recommendations and reservations at restaurants and other activities. Moselle receives 5 of 5 Stars in our opinion.

"Very clean and comfortable with attentive hosts"

4 of 5 starsReviewed March 18, 2010
The directions in the Charming B&B book to this modern home were easy to follow. We arrived at 3pm for a two night stay and our hostess, Anne, broke off from entertaining friends to welcome us and make us tea and cake. Our room, and seperate bathroom, were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a multi layered affair with offerings to suit all tastes. On our return from dinner, at a location suggested by Anne, our hosts invited us into their private area and they were very generous with their time and conversation.

"Just like home"

Our hosts Anne & Grahame made us feel completely at home in their B&B. What a wonderful spot, very centrally located, great breakfasts and very nice and gracious hosts. If we are in Taupo again we would not hesitate to stay here. There assistance with helping us plan our days from sightseeing to golf and dinner reservations was fantastic.

"Comfortable in a quiet location"

A
nn took us in when our booking went wrong in Taupo. She could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The room had a super view, was clean and comfortable. The English breakfast was delicious. We were kindly allowed to use internet access.

I have stayed at Moselle twice over the past two years. Grahame and Anne really made our visit special. The Bed and Breakfast was top notch with the breakfast more than you could ask for. The highlight of our stay though would have to be the smoked Trout that Grahame had caught that day and prepared with his “secret” recipe. As a whole 10 out of 10!!

Thanks very much guys, I look forward to staying again next year.

Until then, Ben
